Located directly across the street from Trader Joe’s on Martin Luther King Jr. Way,  Berkeley Hair Salon is a quaint and extremely friendly full-service salon, specializing in cuts, perms, colors, highlights and formal updos, for men, women, and children. It’s usually a 1 or 2-woman shop, but they provide great service at an inexpensive price usually without much of a wait. Haircuts are $12 for men and $14 for women (even less with a coupon from InsidetheGoodLife.com). Walk-ins welcome.
